Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ORYND's desktop app, browser extensions, and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
01Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with Orynd Inc. and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
02Accounts
You need an account to use most features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- One person or entity per account unless you hold a team plan.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
03License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal or personal engineering work, including commercial use on paid plans. You may not resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
04Plans & billing
The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (e.g. Pro). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processors.
- Trials: Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
- Refunds: Email us within 7 days of a charge for a refund of the unused portion, in the same method you paid with.
- Price changes: We'll give notice before any price change affects you. Launch pricing, once locked to your account, is honored as described at signup.
05Your content
You retain all rights to the files, models, sketches, prompts, and designs you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not train our models on Your Content or your geometry. By default, your files stay local on your machine; cloud sync is opt-in and encrypted.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or infringing purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use automated means to abuse credits, trials, or rate limits.
07Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Orynd Inc. and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our brand or code beyond the license above. Output you generate from Your Content belongs to you.
08Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ORYND is an engineering assistant, not a substitute for professional judgment. Always review generated geometry, drawings, and tolerances before manufacturing. We do not guarantee that output meets any specific standard, regulation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
09Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orynd Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or manufacturing costs arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your license ends; you may export Your Content as STEP, STL, or DXF before deletion.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
