Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data ORYND collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built ORYND to keep your engineering work private — most of it never leaves your machine.

Our core pledge: We don't sell your data, we don't train our models on your geometry, and your CAD files stay local by default. Cloud sync is opt-in and end-to-end encrypted.

02Your files & geometry

Your assemblies, parts, sketches, and exported files stay local on your machine by default. We do not collect or store them. When you run a prompt, only the request and the resulting automation code or geometry needed to complete it are processed on our servers. We do not train our models on your content. If you enable cloud sync, your files are encrypted end-to-end and only you hold the keys.

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To respond to support requests and send service notices.
To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security issues.

04Legal bases

Where applicable law (such as GDPR) requires it, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional communications and cloud sync), and legal obligation (to comply with law).

We don't sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate, under contract and only as needed:

Cloud & inference: AWS (United States) for processing prompts.
Auth: Supabase for account management.
Payments: our payment processors handle card data; we never store full card numbers.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

06Data retention

We keep account and billing data while your account is active and as required for legal and tax purposes. Prompt and usage logs are retained for a limited period to operate and improve the Service. When you delete your account, we erase your personal data and cloud-synced content, except where we must retain limited records by law.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of this from your account settings, or email us. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

08Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and regular review. Cloud sync is end-to-end encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

09Cookies

The website uses essential cookies for sign-in and security, and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

10Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
